Umbel Invaders
Airborne seed. Hold the line from the path with a spray bottle of soapy water.
Controls
- Keyboard: ← → to move, Space to spray, P to pause.
- Touch: put a finger on the field and drag; the sprayer follows and sprays by itself.
Field notes
- Cutting off a flower head does not kill the plant: the side buds grow out and bear several smaller heads instead (see Hydra effect). Only the root, or here the stem, is final.
- Seed that reaches the ground joins the seed bank, and the bank sends up new plants long after the old ones are gone.
- Real work parties do not use spray bottles, and nobody should face a stand of hogweed without protective clothing.
